Pre-work
The key to success on all standardized reading tests is raising reading levels. We strongly recommend having students complete Ignition as part of their Zinc Journey. In just 1-2 hours, most students using Zinc Ignition go up by at least one Zinc reading level—that’s 1.5 grade levels of growth!

📘 About Bluebook Practice Days
On Days 10 and 20, students complete official SAT practice using College Board’s Bluebook app.
These are full-length or module-based SAT practice tests — provide in-class time or assign for HW
Students are prompted in Zinc with a link. Teachers can direct students to take a specific test or let them choose.
No additional Zinc practice is assigned on these days
Alternative option:
Teachers may choose to print a practice test from College Board and have students complete it on paper instead.
